Who Supports Health Education
There is strong support for comprehensive health education across Massachusetts; voters and many state and local organizations have made clear that health education is an essential part of helping young people live safe and healthy lives, both now and in the future.
A phone survey conducted in August 2006 by RKM Research and Communications, Inc. showed that over two-thirds of registered voters in Massachusetts support making comprehensive health education part of the core curriculum for public schools.
Additionally, over 100 organizations have joined the CARE for Youth coalition to support and advocate for the Health Education Bill.
