Tell Us Your Story
Whether you are an educator, a student, or a parent, one of the most important things you can do to support comprehensive health education is to tell us what's happening with health education at your school.
There are over 300 school districts in Massachusetts, and we want to know what is going on in each and every one of them! We at CARE for Youth do our best to stay up-to-date on issues related to health education in schools around the state, but we need to hear from you-after all, you know better than anyone what is happening right now at the school that you attend, teach at, or send a child to.
When you tell us why health education is-or could be-helping you, your students, or your children, you help us understand what problems and challenges individual school districts face, and why this issue is so important for students at a particular school. When you share your story, you personalize the issue of health education; you show people that there are real students affected by health education, or a lack thereof.
- If you're a student who is currently taking health education or who thinks health education should be taught in your school, tell us!
- If you're an educator who feels that health education would increase your students' quality of life or who sees how your school's current health education program is benefiting students, we want to hear from you!
- If you're a parent who wants to see your children receive information that will help them lead healthy lives or who is happy with what your children have learned in health education, let us know!
